Two days. One community. One purpose.Join us for scintillating rugby, entertainment, and a fundraiser supporting Gieo Mầm 🌱 - a non-profit leadership & life skills program for young girls and women in Vietnam implemented by community coaches under Đại Việt Rugby.
What's happening?
Taking place on 17 January 2026, The Big Day Out is the next instalment of cool, fun events supporting rugby development in Vietnam 🇻🇳.Not only that - this year Đại Việt Rugby have teamed up with the British Consulate General to host a special Fundraiser event to raise funds specifically for our non-profit social impact program, Gieo Mầm. This will take place on Friday 16th January
from 7-10pm.Every đồng that comes in goes towards supporting the growth of rugby domestically in Vietnam - including rural Vietnamese player participation, match official development and plans for national team formation.This year we're hosting showstopping matches in men's and women's categories, including:🏆 The 1994 Cup
🥇 Ao Làng 7s Series FinalsWe also will have an Australian touring team joining the match day - it's sure to be a rippaaaaa.Check our social media channels for detailed match schedules. 🚀

We're not just throwing a ball around.
